A Development - Case Study
Our latest project is a renovation of one of Alderley Edge's finest houses. The Tower House sits on the plot formerly occupied in Victorian times by Alderley's grandest Villa; Croston Towers.
The plot is approximately 3/4 of an acre and around half of that is made up of its own private woodland. Completely private and secluded the design brief was to bring more space and light to the existing home whilst maximising the woodland views to the rear of the property.
This has been achieved by the addition of a two storey guest wing, which includes a self contained apartment with its own woodland terrace. The whole internal layout of the existing house has been remodelled to create a flowing, luxury dwelling.
The kitchen has been extended enabling us to create two walls of folding glass panels enabling the whole living area of the kitchen to be opened up accessing a stunning outdoor patio area and outdoor lounge. The Siematic kitchen features top of the range Gaggenau appliances throughout.
The master bedroom is accessed via a beautiful curved Venetian plaster walled corridor and opens into a spectacular master suite featuring 4 sets of bifold doors leading to 3 separate terraces. The terraces provide outdoor areas to sit and enjoy the woodland view by an open fire and another provides a beautiful space to enjoy the hot tub. The master suite houses a luxurious en suite area including a shower and steam room, free standing bathtub, wc and freestanding his and hers washbasins.
Prior to the renovations the whole project was designed and computer modelled as per many of the images on the home screen so that the client could, along with our design team, view and amend each and every room in the house in an organic and collaborative design process.
